Integrated IT Solutions Named to the MSPmentor 100 Global List
February 18, 2011: Integrated IT Solutions has landed on Nine Lives Media Inc.’s fourth-annual MSPmentor 100, a distinguished list and research report identifying the world’s top 100 managed service providers (MSPs). This year’s MSPmentor 100 report includes MSPs from North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.
"We are pleased and honored to be named one of the Top 100 Managed Service providers in the world," said Jay Patterson, Vice President, Integrated IT Solutions. "This designation recognizes our team’s commitment and dedication to providing innovative solutions and quality service to all of our clients. We will continue to work hard and grow, both organically and through more strategic acquisitions, which will hopefully keep us moving up on the MSPmentor Global 100."
The MSPmentor 100 report, available at http://www.MSPmentor.net/top-100-msps, is based on data from MSPmentor’s global online survey, conducted October-December 2010. The MSPmentor 100 report recognizes top managed service providers based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee and customer devices managed.
“Nine Lives Media Inc. and MSPmentor congratulate Integrated IT Solutions for earning this distinguished honor,” said Amy Katz, CEO of Nine Lives Media Inc. “The annual MSPmentor 100 survey attracts participants from across the globe. Qualifying for the final MSPmentor 100 list is a great accomplishment.”
“We continue to see accelerating momentum for the world’s top MSPs,” added Joe Panettieri, editorial director of MSPmentor. “The top 100 MSPs generated more than $1 billion in recurring revenues for 2010, up 27 percent from 2009. That’s remarkable growth considering the challenging global economic landscape in 2010.”
Partner Spotlight: GlobalSign Malware Monitoring
Integrated IT Solutions uses GlobalSign for its SSL certificates (the most widely deployed security protocol in place today). These certificates provide a secure channel between two machines operating over the internet on an internal network. Now GlobalSign is expanding its offerings to include Malware monitoring.
There has been a fundamental paradigm shift in how criminals are now distributing malicious software (malware). Rather than relying on USB devices, disks and attachments to spread viruses, criminals have found it far more effective to distribute malware by “drive-by downloads”. This technique takes advantage of browser vulnerabilities to plant malicious code into unsuspecting websites – code which infects anyone who visits the page, without the need to click and install anything.
The HackAlert service, powered by GlobalSign strategic partner Armorize Technologies, identifies drive-by downloads and provides alarms for "zero-day" malware threats hidden in websites, protecting website owners and their customers from the damaging effects of malware. The HackAlert monitoring service will be bundled into GlobalSign SSL Certificates at no extra charge and will also be offered as a standalone solution for enterprises and hosting companies for wide scale non-SSL site monitoring.
“GlobalSign is delighted to be able to provide the HackAlert malware monitoring technology to our customer base, helping to raise awareness of zero-day threats, as well as responding to increasing customer demand for web based protection services,” said Steve Waite, CMO, GMO GlobalSign Inc. “We are dedicated to helping organizations implement robust malware monitoring to complement their use of SSL and other web security technologies to protect their customers, their search engine traffic and their corporate brand.”
