Partner Spotlight: Axcient

Integrated IT Solutions is excited to announce our latest technology partner, Axcient, a cloud-based data backup and business continuity solution. Each year a business is guaranteed to experience loss of productivity, whether it is a failed server, stolen laptop or accidentally deleted files. But regardless of the size of the incident, all of these occurances negatively impact employees, customers and your bottom line.

Axcient offers the first complete data protection service for small and medium businesses designed to ensure business continuity every day and protect your most important asset in the event of loss or corruption. Their platform is delivered as a service, and there is no need to buy any equipment to get started. The Axcient solution lets you restore data with a few simple clicks in minutes, rather than days or weeks.

With Axcient, you are protected three ways:

  • There is a device that stays in your workplace for FAST backup and restores.
  • A copy of your data and server images are stored at Axcient’s secure, SAS 70 II certified data center – automatically sent on a preset schedule.
  • All Axcient Appliances are built with special chipsets to allow the operations of a failed server to failover to the Axcient Appliance until a server replacement is found. That’s right, you can run your Microsoft Exchange server right on the Appliance in a pinch.

Our models range in capacity from 500GB to 20TB, so there is a backup solution for just about any need. Protect your most important asset with one solution. Axcient is the most reliable and simple cloud-based backup and business continuity service on the market today.

Office 2010 Tip of the Month

Since our engineers have been quite busy this summer rolling out Microsoft Office 2010 on many of your workstations, we thought we would start a "tips and tricks" section of the newsletter to help you transition to the new version.

Outlook 2010 Conversation View

Email messages in your Outlook 2010 inbox and other mail folders can be organized by date and arranged by Conversation. When Conversation is turned on, messages that share the same subject appear as Conversations that can be viewed, expanded or collapsed. You can quickly review and act on messages or complete Conversations. This is helpful if you've been out of the office all day and do not want to sift through multiple replies.

On the View tab, in the Conversations group, select the Show as Conversations check box. Click All Folders or This Folder.
