2.9 Million Adobe Customers Hit in Major Data Breach
Hackers have breached the servers of Adobe, stealing data on 2.9 million customers and the source code from at least three of its products, the software company announced.
The company said that the attacks accessed an unspecified number of customer IDs and encrypted passwords and stole information related to 2.9 million customers including names, credit or debit card numbers. Separately, hackers also stole source code of various Adobe products, including Acrobat, ColdFusion and ColdFusion Builder. The company believes these two breaches are connected. Adobe is resetting some passwords, notifying customers whose debit or credit cards were affected, and alerting the affected banks.

iOS 7 News and Notes
Did you update your Apple device to the new iOS 7 recently? You may have heard about the security hole that let anyone gain access to iOS apps without having to enter the passcode. They have since issued a fix for that in the iOS 7.0.2 update. It has also caused iMessage to stop working for a large number of users. Apple is currently working on a fix for this.
Apple added tons of new features to iOS 7 and turned all of these features on automatically, so as a result, you may be experiencing lower battery life. If so, there are ways to opt-out of some of these features in order to conserve the battery. First, dim your brightness setting from the Control Center. This has the biggest impact on battery life. Other things you can do: turn off Air Drop when not in use, shut off Bluetooth if you don't need it, and stop using Parallax and Dynamic backgrounds.
Apple has launched a set of new pages called Tips and Tricks. The pages are dedicated to the iPhone models currently available: the iPhone 4S, 5S and 5C. Need more advice or help finding where these services reside on your device? Email us!
