iPhone 6 tips and tricks

There are tons of new features and little things that you can do to enhance your experience on Apple's latest and greatest devices. Here are a few to get you started:

  • The 1A/5W charger included in the box of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus makes re-charging the phones slower than it could be. Grab a 2.1A/12W iPad charger for a much faster charge.
  • Double tap on the home key to have the current app slide down within easy reach (the feature is called Reachability).
  • You can use your phone as a personal mobile hotspot. Go to the cellular data network option in settings and choose the personal hotspot tab
  • Track your activity better with the new sensor: barometer. It tracks things like how many stairs you've climbed
  • Take a screenshot:press the power key on the right side while holding the home key, and you will hear a click that it worked
  • Set up family sharing and add your kids so that you can approve app purchases
